Yum Yum Dim Sum

Grandma B is visiting from the East Coast this weekend which means a lot of extra fun activities were planned. On Saturday we ventured to Chinatown for the twins' first ever dim sum lunch. Brett wound up enjoying tea (served cold and plain for babies) more than anything else:

But he left a little room for pot stickers and even mastered the use of chopsticks:

Little Maggie's favorite item was the pork bun:

I think she loves pork because she's such a ham:

Today, we needed to work of all those calories. So we visited the park at Alta Plaza and ran a few wind sprints before heading home.

Silly Faces in the Morning

Brett and Maggie wanted to make silly faces and take pictures yesterday morning, but then they wouldn't look at the camera and only wanted to entertain each other. Adorable.

Happy 4th of July

What a weekend! We all headed down to Orange County to visit Grandma, Papa, DeeDee and RyRy for a long 4th of July weekend. There were SO many highlights that we had to post a bunch of pictures in a slideshow (coming soon). But among the highlights....

Brett and Maggie's first trip to the beach! They absolutely loved it. Maggie spent most of her time making mud, washing rocks and looking beautiful. Brett alternated between playing with his sister, getting his feet wet in the surf, and throwing the football around (much to the delight of all the ladies).

It should be mentioned that Brett and Maggie supplemented their beach trips with a few dips in the pool. By the end of the weekend Bretty was jumping off the edge and into the water all by himself.

We also threw an early birthday party for Mommy. Grandma made a special delicious cake.

The twins were chauffeured around the grounds by Papa in a wagon. Periodically, they got out to exercise and enjoy the view.

Of course, no weekend to Dana Point would be complete without enjoying the flowers and playing some golf.
