We had a fun and busy weekend. Auntie DeeDee came to town on Friday! We went out to breakfast and lunch, got ice cream and a haircut for Brett, played tee-ball, had a Father's Day indoor picnic, and rode horses in the basement.
Maggie and Bretty love DeeDee very much.
After Devon left, we met Lucas, Shayna and Sarah at the Tilden Park Little Farm in Berkeley. We brought lots of celery and lettuce, but Lucas was the only kid brave enough to feed the animals. We saw pigs, cows, bunnies, turkeys, chickens, sheep and goats.
Afterwards, we went to the Tilden Park Merry-Go-Round to ride some animals.
The kids were exhausted after our Berkeley outing!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game
This past Saturday was a big day for the kids. They attended their first ever baseball game! It was a pretty nice day - by San Francisco standards - so we headed down the hill to PacBell Park* to catch the World Series Champion Giants take on the Reds. We assumed the babies might only by good for a few innings (though surprisingly they lasted longer than Tim Lincecum did that day) so we bought standing room tickets and roamed the outfield arcade. This gave us a great view of McCovey Cove and The Bay (boats!) while still giving Bretty his badly needed baseball fix. We're not kidding... he LOVES the game.
Other highlights included the twins' first bus ride (you never forget your first ride on MUNI), a hotdog lunch and Maggie's incredibly cool hat. We're not kidding... she LOVES her hat.
Daddy and Little Papi show their allegiance to the Red Sox in Giants country:

*I know it's been AT&T Park for a few years now, but I've got a limit on the number of corporate named stadiums I'll commit to memory.
